A firm grasp of the fundamentals is essential for the safety and effectiveness of the CrossFit programming. To that end, we need to spend more time with new athletes and give them a solid grounding in the fundamentals. Therefore, if you are interested in trying CrossFit BWI we will offer a FREE Introductory Session.
Free Introductory Session
The Free Introductory Session is available to those new to CrossFit BWI and is a prerequisite for starting. The intro is a scaled down workout so you know what you are getting into. Many people think they are in good shape or think they are in bad shape, it is irrelevant to us. What matters is your desire for results and willingness to work.

If you decide to join CrossFit BWI and "drink the Kool-Aid" then you will have to successfully complete the Elements Program.
Elements Private Training
The new athlete will need to complete a series of 5 one-on-one private lessons. This will allow the new athlete to succeed and thrive in the group class atmosphere. Small group is also available with a price reduction for each athlete in group. If after your sessions, you still are not ready for classes, then you may continue at normal private training rates.
Test In
Are you an experienced CrossFitter? Do you know what a Sumo Deadlift High Pull is? Have you worked with Olympic Lifting or Kettlebells? Can you do a Kipping Pull? Do you know what a Tabata Protocol is? Have you been to CrossFit FAQS? If you said a confident Yes! to all of these questions then you may test into our group classes. You are not guaranteed approval though. Our standards must be met. Schedule a 30 min Personal Training appointment with one of our certified instructors.
Group Class
Our classes are like group personal training sessions without the cost and a lot more intensity.
In an hour-long group workout, we will warm up and then usually
spend up to the first 15-30 minutes working on a skill…proper exercise
form, new lifting movements, balance training, gymnastics-type
training, or a hundred other things. You will leave here having learned
something. The second half hour is devoted to the actual CrossFit
workout, and yes…you will get a good workout!
Once you have completed Elements Private Training Sessions, or have Tested In you are eligible for Group Classes.
Once you enroll, you will be able to select the applicable price option.
We offer 3 month, 6 month, and year long commitments.
Discounts available for military, service (fire/police/EMS) and students.
